I never thought I would find an authentic cuban cafeteria in Broward, but alas there is a god!! This place serves THE best coffee in the tri-state area. They've got la Carreta, and Versailles beat hands down!! Don't come in here expecting anything fancy, but do expect that if you go more than twice the girls will remember you and always greet you with a smile. I've only been here for breakfast before work, so I can't vouch for their lunch menu, but their breakfast is off the hook. Their prices are really fair, and I highly recommend it if you're in the area and want something good, fast and affordable.

Very charming cafeteria style eatery. We recently relocated to this section of the city and were hungry so stopped in for lunch. Food was very tasty, lovely and super friendly service. Would def put it on your radar for quick, inexpensive, quality homemade food. Will be back to enjoy more things on the menu. Check it out, it really epitomizes old school charm.

Authentic Cuban food at a great price. The Cafe con Leche will really get you moving in the morning. The breakfast is amazing and I am looking forward to coming back for lunch. All the sandwiches are served on authentic Cuban bread and pressed properly. You must speak a little Spanish or at least try to order at this place which gives and even better feel. I highly recommend Santa Barbara for great cuban good and service.

I was in the mood for a Sandwich of eggs potatoes and onions ( Pan de tortilla con cebolla y papas). $4.95 plus cafe con leche $2.00 Great clean little place. Service great. Coming back to try more of their options

I get odd cravings for the food from this place. I go there a lot. An awful lot. It's an old fashioned style cafeteria with a lot of charm and simple food that can take you way back. Great for breakfast and lunch, the food is really good and consistent. Helps if you speak spanish (which I don't) or have a spanish friend (which I do), but you can always point at what you want on the menu and it arrives quickly. This place is responsible for at least 2 of the inches on my waist, and that's a real compliment.

Straight up cuban food joint! No fancy plates or service but if you just want to get your cuban fix this is the place for it. I got the "rabo encendido" ox tail with rice, black beans and fried sweet plantains and i was very satisfied.

We had a craving for cafe con leche on Superbowl Sunday. Other places were closed so after a quick search, discovered this place. Everyone was nice and constantly checked on us. I ordered breakfast with toast and of course the coffee. So delicious! I am now ready to tackle all of today's tasks.

Good cuban breakfast, for broward. I'm from Miami so I was not impressed. It satisfied my craving. Not to many options for good cuban breakfast in my area. This will work. Worth trying.

This Mom and Pop Cuban place is where I was introduced to the Cuban coffee drink, Cortadito. I usually drink my coffee black with one splendid, but I enjoyed this coffee with the milk and sugar added. Good stuff. The ambiance is an old school Cuban cafeteria vibe with customers talking (in english and Spanish) politics and sipping coffee. Nothing fancy here at all, but being a non Spanish speaker ( except for some curse words:) I have never felt uncomfortable going here. The Cuban Sandwich is authentic chow, served on a plastic plate. The pork had a mojo marinated flavor so I knew this was NOT sliced deli meat, but the real deal. Warm Crusty Cuban bread with the right amount of mustard and cheese makes mi' hablo, delicioso:) 4 stars you say....yes it is because I am of fan of the vibe. Makes me wanna buy the Rosetta Stone and learn Spanish:) Tell them the big Gringo Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

It's not great Cuban food, but it's Fort Lauderdale - decent Cuban food is in short supply. I enjoy this place on Sunday's when my regular haunt is closed. I enjoy their pastries (guayaba con queso crema / guava and cream cheese). They also make a really good cafe con leche into which I can dip my tostada (buttered cuban bread) just like I did as a child.

Good, not great. Very reasonably priced. Limited offerings. Being the only place in town, it lives on it's monopoly...
